3, 2, 1… Ignition

This 4-day training is specifically designed for advanced users who want to deepen and refine their Ignition skills. Prior knowledge of Ignition is required to participate in this training. If you already have experience with Ignition but could use a refresher, you can sign up for our Rookie wrap-up session. After completing the Ignition Pro training, you will be able to independently build and manage a complete Ignition application.

Practical details:

  • Duration: 4 days (Tuesday to Friday)
  • Time: Each day from 09:00 to 16:00
  • Location: Training center at Schoutlaan 2 in Weert, The Netherlands
  • Cost: €2,000 per participant. Discount of €250 for each additional participant from the same company
  • Language: Dutch (English-language training available upon request via sales@at-automation.nl )
  • Facilities: Each workstation is equipped with an extra monitor. Don’t forget to bring your own laptop!
  • Lunch: Lunch provided daily
  • Certificate: Upon completion, you will receive a certificate recognizing your newly acquired skills.

Training content

  • Learn effective techniques for troubleshooting and identifying errors within Ignition
  • Understand how tags are used and implemented according to the ISA-95 standard
  • Utilize templates and User-Defined Types (UDTs) for a more efficient and structured approach
  • Learn how to communicate with external devices and PLCs
  • Set up dynamic alarms and configure alarms based on alarm words
  • Install and configure SQL databases, including the use of alarm logs and historical data
  • Make optimal use of the Tag Historian module for effectively storing & retrieving historical data
  • Manage the view folder structure, use Perspective views & create mappings to display data dynamically
  • Learn the fundamentals of security in Ignition projects and how to configure security settings
  • Learn how to use Transaction Groups for tracking historical data
  • Improve your design skills by applying various styles and techniques.
